Our eating habits determine the results we get when it comes to shedding excess pounds and getting fit. It is impossible to reach your fitness and weight loss goals by eating junk food. I'm a P90X® user and even with those challenging workouts, I will not get results if make poor food choices. If you are familiar with P90X then chances are you have heard of Michi's Ladder.
Michi's Ladder is a food guideline. The goal is to stick to tiers 1 & 2. For the most part, tiers 1 & 2 are clean foods. Not everyone may like what's on the list but for those struggling to figure out what types of food to eat to help with weight loss and fitness, it is a good guideline to follow.

Most people who are seeking to eat better are probably starting out in tiers 4 & 5. You can definitely work your way up the ladder and do your best to stay in tiers 1 & 2. Combine tiers 1 & 2 with a good fitness program and you will be on your way to seeing results.
As far as getting in a good workout, P90X is awesome! I am currently on day 28 of the 90 day program and I feel great! I think combining a good fitness routine with the foods in tiers 1 & 2 of Michi's Ladder is a great way to start a healthy lifestyle change.

Thanks guys, I have not been aware of the michi ladders, I find it very useful!
I love how easy and straight forward this chart is. I can sow it to people when I am explaining my food choices!
